Below is a horror game prototype that was created during my Game Design studies.
The player takes control of a little boy who wakes up in the attic after a horrible event and with the only memory that he has to reach the basement.
The player has to navigate the childhood home and find a way downstairs but he is not alone.
Roaming through the halls are the memories of the childs parents, now only shadows, that will haunt them through the hallways.
Next to my usual tasks as sound designer I this time also took the lead in programming. This meant implementing game and puzzle logic and programming the enemy AI, which tries to hunt down the player but only moves when not in view.
